Olympian, Coach & Author
Jason chronicles that experience and more in his critically acclaimed memoir—CHARIOTS AND HORSES: life lessons from an Olympic rower. This inspiring page-turner openly reveals his tumultuous journey in the hopes of cultivating a healthier outlook not only for athletes, but anyone who strives for greater purpose within their own lives.
During his 10 years of coaching high school rowing, Jason’s crews won 12 International Championship events, set a Canadian course record time and won back-to-back events with the same four athletes—a feat never before achieved at a National Championship. All of this the byproduct of a team-culture built around compassion, empathy and love—for self, for one another, and for their competitors. Jason’s competitive strategy, a paradox to be sure, was to convince his athletes that winning is a limiting goal—and rather to win is the byproduct of striving for personal and team excellence. The environment Jason fostered provided emotional safety for his athletes—from that safety, his athletes felt free to fail but also, ultimately, achieved success on levels they had never dreamt possible.
Jason’s storytelling strikes a note of integrity and honesty rarely seen. His story, a compelling and very personal journey, coupled with his witty self-deprecating humour fully engages his audience and leaves them with life-changing messages that resonate for years. Never lecturing, Jason simply challenges us to rethink our traditional perspectives on high performance in business, sport and life, and asks us to explore how we can achieve personal success more effectively and with greater fulfillment and joy.
He is a graduate of The Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, taught high school for 15-years and is the co-founder of Left Coast Naturals—an organic and natural food manufacturer and distributor.
Jason, his wife Robyn Meagher (two-time Olympic runner), and their family, live in Victoria, British Columbia where he is currently promoting his recent book—Pulling Together: A Coach’s Journey to Uncover the Mindset of True Potential, and coaching high-performance athletes, artists and executives.

Doctor & Martial Artist
JOHN KUMMROW, PH.D.
Despite the opinion of the medical community, John believed that he could recover. He brought that belief to graduate school and earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Along the way, he applied his instincts and his education to his own injury, a combination that eventually led to near complete mobility and use of his right arm and shoulder.
Today, as the owner and primary physical therapist at Integrative Physiotherapy LLC, Dr. Kummrow practices a unique and multi-faceted form of physical therapy known as Kinetic Chain Rehabilitation . His practice is rooted in his personal experience of severe injury, and his respect for both eastern and western philosophies of medicine.
Prominent in his holistic approach to physical therapy is a neuro-muscular awareness of how the body’s nerve network coordinates and communicates with the body’s musculature to achieve efficient function. At Integrative Physiotherapy, Dr. Kummrow offers a unique combination of physical therapy techniques, including one-on-one personal training, trigger point dry needle therapy and spinal manipulation that are designed to reprogram the mind-body connection, psychosomatic components, and achieve long-term physical health.
World-Champion & Fear Specialist
Retired as an athlete since 2003, she then spent the next 14 years going to the next level –becoming a master facilitator, teaching on numerous subjects such as the mindset of optimal sports performance, flow states, whole mind thinking, how to embrace change, emotional intelligence and more. She developed a highly effective teaching tool called Shift: The Game of 10,000 Wisdoms. This is a facilitated dialog which helps groups or individuals access the resources of their own minds to solve problems in a matter of hours that would otherwise take decades of therapy to achieve. Her revolutionary work has been featured in such media as NPR, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Forbes, USA Today, Outside Magazine, and many more.
Kristen’s transition to thought leader on Fear came in 2012, the day she realized that most of her client’s problems –such as underperforming, insomnia, excessive anxiety, depression, excessive anger, excessive fear, indecisiveness and more, were quickly and permanently resolved once she helped them address their avoidance of fear.
All this is covered in detail starting June 13, 2017, with the release of The Art of Fear. Meanwhile, Kristen is in preparation to support the books message through online workshops, talks, interviews, live facilitated events and more. The Art of Fear outlines a clear path to stop the cycle of repression and learn how to instead feel and experience fear in a healthy way. This new, revolutionary approach to fear is an alternative for those who, so far, have had limited success with other methods for dealing with their fear or anxiety based problems.
Scott, being an athlete himself, started playing his first love of ice hockey at the age of 4. He continued to develop his game and at the age of 15 he was selected to the Team USA Hockey Development program. He was highly scouted by many junior, prep and college teams and ended up leaving Colorado and moved to Boston at the age of 17 to play junior hockey. He continued to play Junior A in the USHL and NAHL which lead him to play Division 1 College hockey. After college Scott played minor professional hockey in Quebec. Scott also at this time competed in Natural bodybuilding for four years receiving his Pro card in his first show.
When running his business, Scott enjoyed being in the trenches with his clients to channel his own experience as a decorated athlete with his work with high school, prep, and collegiate athletes alike in addition to amateur physique competitors. His work also extended to the fields of injury rehabilitation and corrective postural training with long term goals focused on improving movement, performance and educating clients on practices for overall health.
With his expert knowledge of a Nutritionist he was able to extend the success of his training plans by including the utmost productive nutrients to synergistically support the body. This included but was not limited to, nutritional supplement timing for athletes, extensive results for safe weight loss, and treatment for medical conditions such as Crohn’s, IBS, and Celiac Disease. He also frequently ran seminars focused on nutrition and training while still practicing with Athletic teams seasonally and training with physique sport preparation with bodybuilding, fitness, and figure competitors.
Scott had been exposed to many different training approaches, and felt there was an absence of knowledge of a major fundamental component of the human body, which he identified as the “Fascia.” As the primary governing connective tissue the fascia maintains the structural integrity of the flesh body and compartmentalizes all of our muscles and organs. Scott intuitively knew the key to unlocking the bodies potential to develop free movement and overall health was locked in the shell of dense Fascia tissue of past life experience and trauma.
On his journey, he then sought out a system that would be able to unwind the Fascia along the planes of the age old Chinese organ meridian system. He knew the Eastern philosophy understood the body in a different way from the west. Scott came upon a studio in Boston called the The Genius of Flexibility, which taught Resistance Flexibility & Strength training along the different planes of fascia that connected to the Chinese meridians. Having the meridians correlate to different areas of tissue and muscles in the body, connecting the health of the individual to specific organs.
While studying and working at The Genius of Flexibility in Boston he was able to further develop his newly found craft over the course of 4 years. Scott worked with and elevated the performance of a wide array of athletes including Olympic Skiers, NFL football players, College and prep school hockey, pro MMA, college Tennis, The Boston Ballet, figure skaters, and gymnast to name a few. Not only elevating their game however educating them on daily practices to help feel the fascia body learning how to translate the unconscious mind and to grow an attention of that for continuous sustained development.
He also got the opportunity to work with special cases such as PTSD, Cancer, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, joint replacement, Lyme Disease, Pectus Excavatum and concussions with much success. He learned if you open up the blood flow and energy to the organs they can heal themselves. Scott found this to be his guiding light on his journey to continue to unveil the human potential which resides in the Fascia.
After traveling North America pursuing his hockey dreams and acquiring and abundance of invaluable knowledge on the Fascia tissue and Chinese Meridians, he returned to Colorado Springs. It was there Scott took his creative and experience and evolved the work even more than what he learned in Boston. He developed a strategy dedicated to the underestimated resistance and tensile force in the body. He learned that using heavy loads of resistance within a movement or stretch wasn’t the most effective strategy, as some clients already had enormous resistance and tensile force in their scar tissue, using added resistance wasn’t the best strategy. Clients could have the potential of some 2,000lbs per square inch of tensile force hiding in their scar tissue from a past event in one single motion. This overstimulation of the nervous system had negative effects as a client would re-enact the movements and emotions of a past trauma which caused the initial harm instead of being able to yield and be with their bodies feeling the injured tissue while unearthing and processing the past memory stored in the body in present time.
He developed a yin and yang fascia and muscle activation technique to help people to feel and relieve the enormous tension and electrical shock from past experience. Scott didn’t want people to be defined by their past trauma so more understanding of the body was needed. He started studying Tai chi and got more answers into the mystery of the joints and tendons and relationship with fascia. He learned the joints are like huge seaports, if opened, could transfer energy and blood flow to rest of body creating remarkable change. This understanding gave his work a new level of sustainability as the body could permanently change and continue to clear past toxins. He learned if you honor the bodies tissues and give it what it needs optimal health is achieved. Even today Scott continues his journey to open up and unwind his own tissue and energy, embodying his work seeking his own potential, and sharing his priceless info of longevity and health with his fellow clients.

Peak Performance Thought Leader
Trevor Tierney grew up with Hall of Fame Lacrosse Coach, Bill Tierney as his father and was constantly involved in the game from a young age. At five years old, he started playing youth lacrosse and quickly learned that he wanted to be a goalie. Every day after school, he would go to his father’s team practices to watch and play the game he loved. His athletic dream as a child was to play for his father at Princeton University, win a NCAA National Championship and be a great lacrosse player, himself.
Those dreams ended up panning out for Trevor with a lot of hard work and determination. He is the only goalie in the history of the game to have won an NCAA Championship, an ILF World Championship, and an MLL Championship. Trevor was a two-time All-American at Princeton University, where he won two NCAA Div I National Championships. Trevor then went on to be named All-World Goalie in the 2002 ILF World Championships in Perth, Australia. In 2005, Trevor also won an MLL Championship with the Baltimore Bayhawks. Trevor finished his playing career in 2007 after playing two seasons with the Denver Outlaws and being named to his fifth MLL All-Star game. In 2012, he was inducted into the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame. He also served as an assistant coach for the University of Denver men’s lacrosse team between 2009 and 2015.
However, these accomplishments are only a small part of Trevor’s story. He has always been interested in psychology and personal development and his senior thesis at Princeton was entitled, “Playing In The Zone: The Psychological Aspects Of Peak Performance In Sports”. He continues to further his education and network with others who are interested in this cultural revolution within sport. Trevor is currently in the research process of his master’s thesis entitled, “Developmental Maturity, Psychological Resilience, and Alcohol Abuse in Collegiate Student-Athletes”.
EDUCATION: Trevor Tierney is finishing up his Masters in Psychology at Harvard University and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is from Princeton University. Trevor is also certified in the Subject-Object Interview, an intensive measurement towards evaluating adult developmental stage. Trevor has also taken the full array of workshops including Jennifer Garvey-Berger’s program, Cultivating Leadership, which is a certification program towards supporting adult development in others; the Leadership Circle Profile, which is a leadership assessment tool for organizational leaders and team culture; and the Regenesis Group, which focuses on regenerative work for the community on a wide-range of projects and topics.

Innovative applied methodologies only survive if they produce results. Greg is working with players on the Oregon State University baseball team. In 2017, they are the unanimous pick for #1 in the nation in Division I college baseball and they are the PAC-12 Champions. Over the last 11 years, Greg has worked with key players on several Division I College Conference and National Champion teams.
Greg utilizes Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Energy Psychology (EP) which are body-energy based as key methods for his mental-training work with clients. He is also teaching how to apply modern-day brain science knowledge for consistent peak performances…teaching players that thought/feeling experiences don’t just stay in the brain, they affect every cell of your body, and teaching them how to effectively manage their nervous system activity while under the pressure of performing.
Greg started INNER LIBERTY, INC. in 01/2006 to run his own counseling and consulting business to assist coaches, parents and student athletes with achieving the inner-freedom confidence that goes with becoming self-reliant; teaching them down-to- earth, quick and effective mental-and- emotional self-management skills. Furthermore, Greg only teaches methods that he personally uses.
